Felix officially accepted the "Junior Racing Driver of the Year" title at the Bilsport Awards ceremony in Stockholm on Saturday night.
With more than 500 guests in attendance for the evening - which also hosted the 50th anniversary celebrations for leading Swedish specialist magazine Bilsport - the awards gala saw former, current and future stars of Swedish motorsport gather for five hours of festivities under guidance from hostess Sissela Kyle.
The prestigious "Junior Racing Driver of the Year" award presents Felix with 15.000 SEK (approx. 1700 EURO) towards his future career on the international motor racing stage. Felix is set to carry on in Formula 3 Euro Series for a second year in 2012, as testing with the brand new Dallara chassis gets underway in Spain in the middle of March.
The "Junior Driver of the Year" accolade - where Felix had been one of five candidates shortlisted for the prize - went to rally driver Pontus Tidemand.
Among those on site to congratulate Felix for his recent achievements were 1970's F1 driver Reine Wisell, 2011 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship title winner Rickard Rydell and Felix's team boss from the 2010 German Formula 3 season, Performance Racing's Bobby Issazadhe.
