Felix Rosenqvist and the other Formula 3 Euro Series drivers are set to do battle over a couple of highly attractive prizes in 2011. The championship organisers have developed their incentives concept in order to further highlight the very best drivers in the competitive single-seater series, and are offering a range of fully funded test drives for the category's most successful participants.
The first opportunity on hand comes from an agreement with German touring car championship the DTM, already a long-standing partner of Formula 3 Euro Series. The top two Mercedes and top two Volkswagen Formula 3 Euro Series drivers at the end of the season will receive one DTM test each behind the wheel of a Mercedes C-Class or Audi A4 respectively.
An additional treat awaits the top three drivers in the championship - regardless of what engine they are using - who will all be invited to a full-scale World Series by Renault (Formula Renault 3.5) test courtesy of Renault Sport.
The prospect of testing two of the most technically advanced racing cars in the world, of course, will only add to the motivation and commitment from a driver line-up which already includes some of the brightest young driving talent on the planet.
The first Formula 3 Euro Series test of the year is set to begin in Valencia, Spain, on Monday (March 14th). Results and comments from every pre-season session will be made available here at www.felixracing.se at the end of each day.
