Mücke Motorsport will increase its driver line-up with an additional third-car entry for Argentinian Facu Regalia at this weekend's Formula 3 Euro Series season finale at Hockenheim.
Regalia finished eighth overall in Formula BMW Europe in both 2009 and 2010, and took the step up to Formula 3 in the Italian championship this year, racking up two podiums as his best results.
19-year-old Regalia - who has lived in Madrid for more than ten years - makes his Formula 3 Euro Series debut as he joins the regular Mücke Motorsport tie-up of Felix and Dutchman Nigel Melker. In doing so, Regalia becomes only the second-ever Argentinian to take part in a Formula 3 Euro Series event after Esteban Guerrieri.
A further three drivers are set to make a one-off appearance in the championship in time for the finale. The Signature outfit extends its challenge with a fifth car for Spain's Carlos Sainz Jr. - the recently-crowned Formula Renault NEC champion - as preparation for next month's Macau Grand Prix, while Russian Artem Markelov slots in alongside Jimmy Eriksson and Kimiya Sato over at Motopark Academy. Sandro Zeller is another late entry to make the grid this weekend, behind the wheel of a Jo Zeller Racing-run Dallara F308.
