Felix hit the limelight twice as Swedish motorsport federation the SBF staged its annual prize giving gala in Stockholm this weekend - and was surprised to find himself presented with a tailor-made award specially aimed at his Trade in Sports programme.
One of the first drivers of the evening to enter the stage, Felix received a check valued at 25.000 SEK from the Ronnie Peterson Memorial Foundation - who had opted to place the money in the investment scheme recently announced by Felix and Swedish firm Trade in Sports.
Felix was given the opportunity to explain the workings of the innovative concept, which enables the public to invest a minimum of 100 SEK in his racing career and obtain a percentage of his potential future earnings. The prize giving ceremony also saw Felix receive praise in the category for International Accomplishment, where he was acknowledged for his achievements on the European F3 stage and for his runner-up slot at the Macau Grand Prix world finale. Felix was also handed his FIA trophy for third place in the FIA European Formula 3 Championship.
