From one end of Europe to the other - at 130 mph

Speeds are staggering, competition is fierce and preparation is everything - but just how much running does a season of international single-seater racing involve? We have taken a closer look at Felix's every kilometre behind the wheel so far in 2011...

The above compilation does not include winter testing in Spain, which took place before the official start to the season at the Paul Ricard curtain-raiser.

Out of the four championship rounds contested so far this year, the triple-podium outing at Zandvoort also marked the weekend where Felix got the most mileage under his belt - 534 kilometres. That figure can be compared with the considerably lower number of 361 during the latest round at Spielberg, where Felix's running was compromised heavily by the clash with Roberto Merhi halfway around the first lap of Race 3. On average, Felix has completed 455 kilometres per meeting over the opening rounds of the campaign.

With more than half the season still to go, Felix's mileage total currently stands at close to 2500 kilometres - the equivalent of the distance between Felix's home in the Swedish city of Malmö, and the Spanish capital of Madrid.
