Felix takes second Masters of Formula 3 win to equal Bottas feat!

RTL GP Masters of Formula 3
Zandvoort (the Netherlands) | Date: 7 July 2013 | Weather: Sunny

By Mattias Persson

Felix became only the second driver in history to win the classic Masters of Formula 3 twice, controlling the 2013 edition from pole position to equal a feat previously only achieved by F1 star Valtteri Bottas.

Felix took maximum advantage of his pole position to lead the field into Tarzan Bocht, and would never be headed as he charged away to an eventual victory margin of 5.7 seconds over Prema Powerteam's Alex Lynn.

Further down the order, Felix's trio of Mücke Motorsport team-mates finished 12th, 16th and 18th respectively.

Further information to follow in a forthcoming press release.

"What an incredible weekend - absolutely amazing! I really want to thank everybody at Mücke Motorsport for giving me such a fantastic car, and this victory means a lot to me. I made a good start, and from there, it was all about just controlling the lead. I'm really happy and proud about what we've achieved here, completing a "perfect" weekend where we've topped the times in practice and both qualifying sessions, as well as winning this race. A great day."
