Mücke Motorsport will carry a revised livery in 2013, with the team revealing a brand new corporate identity in the Barcelona paddock on Thursday ahead of the opening FIA Formula 3 European Championship pre-season test.
A new sponsorship agreement with German spare parts retailer kfzteile24 will see the Berlin squad run a blue and orange colour scheme this year, abandoning its traditional red-and-white design. All four Mücke Motorsport cars – which will be driven by Felix, Pascal Wehrlein, Roy Nissany and Mitch Gilbert – will sport the new layout, as will the team’s trailers, pitlane gantry and garage equipment.
The first test of 2013 gets underway at Circuit de Catalunya tomorrow and will span across two days. After suffering a frustrating start to activities as his flight to Barcelona was delayed by almost seven (!) hours on Thursday, Felix is now on-site at the Montmeló venue and has begun preparations for the new campaign.
Full reports and pictures – including the first on-track shots of Mücke Motorsport’s new-for-2013 livery – will be published here at www.felixracing.se throughout the course of the test.
