Qualifying, Thailand: First row for Rosenqvist

As the Formula Asia 2.0 qualifying for tomorrow's first race of the weekend was contested today, Felix Rosenqvist secured a place on the front row by finishing second behind Championship rival Mathias Beche. The two title protagonists have traded fastest lap times throughout practice in Thailand, and were separated by a mere 26/1000 of a second by the end of qualifying. The battle looks set to continue, then, for the rest of the meeting. Qualifying in third and securing his best spot on the grid thus far this season was American Ryan Booth, who finished just in front of local hero Robert Boughey - eagerly cheered on by the Thai spectators at Bira.
